I've always been drawn to capturing moments—first through photography, now through digital art and paint. My process begins with original photographs, which I reimagine through digital exploration, layering color and intuition to create high-definition artworks.
More recently, I've returned to my first love: painting. These canvases are born from my digital work, translated into vivid, tactile color. Whether digital or painted, my art celebrates the transformative power of color, joy, and seeing the world with wonder.

Creativity takes courage.
~Henri Matisse
I never thought I could do art, much less become an artist. I was intimidated by those who could look at an object and draw it perfectly. It was not until I was well into adulthood that I began to understand that art is a way to speak without words; to capture the essence of rhythm, harmony and contrasts of my unformed words. It doesn’t need to be perfect.
As an artist, I perceive the spirit of my subject. Whether my subject is an everyday object, nature, or the human form, I hope to project an intimate vision of life and the mystery of the unknown self. My art speaks the words that hide from me and casts my narrative to the viewer to feel and hear my words.
Art is my courage.

Visual art has always been a part of me. Starting with cartoon characters as a kid, I explored calligraphy, pencil drawings, printmaking, and collage before settling on paint as my tool of choice.
I fell in love with texture, shadows, and light—the elements that inhabit my subconscious. I find joy in unfolding my inner self onto paper and canvas, revealing what is unknown and unrealized. It has become a labor of love, a constant in my life.
The first thing I always ask a viewer is, 'What do you see? How does it make you feel?' Art is more than decoration—it is a reflection of life.

My artistic journey began with my father's encouragement. A childhood fascination with horses led me to master realism in graphite and photography. Yet even then, a natural inclination for surrealism hinted at where my work would go.
My art explores human emotions through irony, surrealism, and abstraction, often sparked by found objects and vintage themes. Working across mediums—from mixed media to three-dimensional pieces—I weave together life experiences and memories of times gone by. Each creation reflects the ironic serendipity of life itself.

AmayzArt hosted their first souls sister paint and sip event on September 20, 2025 with super, talented amayzing friends.
Looking forward to doing it again!

AmayzArt signed up for the Roseville Spring Soiree on Vernon Street on April 12, 2025. We had a lot of traffic and our first sales of the season and hope to do it again early next year.
